This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Mike’s selling his project. The hardtop is unusual.
“For Sale a project I have lost interest in. I have a 1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A body/tub, front fenders, hood, grill and aluminum hardtop too…then I also have a brand new 2×4 steel tube frame, and running gear from a 1985 CJ7, 2.5 motor, D300 transfer case, front end, rear end, radiator, hanging pedals too, I just picked up a T5 5 speed transmission, a T18 Ford truck trans, and also the original T90 that went with the Willys originally. This would make someone a great project with a lot of the hard work done but a lot is also still needed to finish.”
UPDATE: Was $8900.
(01/22/2014) How about the front of this modified CJ-6? I think there’s some potential in that design. However, the rest of this didn’t inspire me as much.
“Selling a rare 1944 Jeep Willies Replica. Only 1,300 miles. Great vehicle for fun. Perfect beach cruiser. brand new rims and tires.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1100.
Doesn’t run.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1600. It might have been some kind of tour jeep like those used in Ouray, Colorado.
This was available and appears to have been sold back in 2013.
“Selling a 1950 Willys Jeep. Starts, runs and drives but does not stop.. Needs some break work. Great little project that already moves under its own power. Fun toy. First one to give me $1,600 takes it home. Easily tows behind my SUV. Pink slip in hand.”

It’s a project. It may run.
“The project vehicle I no longer have time for. New muffler, alternator (straight wire), and brakes. Needs minor work to be a fun and reliable toy. No title. Windshield is from a CJ3A circa 1950.”
