This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This appears pretty stock, except for those push bumps on the front bumper.

“Willys CJ3B 4WD Jeep for offroad use only. Mid/late 50’s model. Not a beauty queen, body is rough, but starts, runs and stops. Has new exhaust manifold and pipe, new fuel pump, new (not r/b) Carter carb, new gauges. new vinyl bikini top; Lock-out hubs; Ramsey 5,000 lb. elect. winch; brush guard and tow-bar. Maintains good oil pressure; runs cool. Tires are fair. More photos available via e-mail.”
Sold as is where is w/Bill of Sale only; (has not been titled in many years, but is clear and has VIN tag on engine firewall). Can be seen daily in Pearland off of Dixie Farm Rd. and FM 518.

The flames really make it go fast. This runs. This has a Worman half cab.
“This jeep has been stored indoors since the 70’s until just this April when I purchased. I have a free and clear title that will go with upon payment. Mechanically this jeep works and runs great. It has a PTO and was set up as a plow truck for a small business. The jeep runs great, shifts, stops, plow setup works as it should and plow goes up and down as well as side to side. I do have the plow blade but it is not pictured. The frame and chassis seems solid and complete but the body has fallen apart and has been patched up to be functional over the years. The origiginal gas tank no longer is hooked up and gas is gotten from an outboard motor tank sitting in the back of jeep. If you need a good complete chassis or parts this is your chance here. Will need to be trailed for safety reasons as it has not run on the road for many many years. The plow blade is comletely good and functional, but was not handy to photo.
Like I said earlier this engine runs great and everyhting seems complete and working chassis wise including the transfer case, etc. Mileage is unknown. Please do not bid if you can not pickup by Sunday Oct 23rd unless making arrangements first.””

(07/19/2011) “Vintage 1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A F-head original four cylinder engine. 57665 actual miles. Some minor conversions, but mostly original. 8000 lb Warn winch on front, camo paint with black soft top. Heavy duty roll bar and back seat. Excellant hunting vehicle. Average retail Blue Book value $11,900.”
