Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This old racer has a fiberglass front clip that looks in good shape. The cage looks worth a few hundred as well. There seems to be some “sweet temptation” here.
“195ish jeep cj2 or cj3 tub. Has No engine or transmission. Frame appears to have been cut on the front? Fiberglass hood and front fenders one piece. No title, appears to have been raced or play in the dunes. What you see in the pictures is all I know”

“1947 Willys CJ2A “modified” This Willys was recently built by a Jeep enthusiast. The build has approx. 1200 miles but Jeep is still being driven around town. Everything thing works and there are no mechanical issues. Registered as an antique vehicle. The engine 2.5L 4 cylinder mopar EFI was recently purchased about 600 miles ago from Collin Bros.

“This is an extremely custom 1952 Willys Jeep that has been extensively modified and is capable as a street, strip, or sand dune use.
It was a frame-off resto-mod project which features a boxed chassis, fabricated roll cage (certified), custom four link for rear suspension, and laser checked frame.
The engine is a professionally built (balanced and blueprinted) GM V8 Aluminum 406 ci / 7.0L block with aluminum DART heads, pro-comp high lift cam, Forged crankshaft/rods/pistons, and oversized oil pan. It has an Edelbrock intake manifold with 850 cfm Holley carburetor, Hooker headers with detachable mufflers/tailpipes

Reverse shackle with straight axle front end. 32 x 14.5 x 15, Rear tires: staggered Super Scoops with tubes, Front tires: Desert Track, by Sand Tires Unlimited. 12 point cage, five point harnesses, suspension race seats mounted on cage, Seat covers in excellent condition. Halon full suppression (extinguisher) system. No motor. Set up for SBC on alcohol or gas, plus power glide or TH 400.”
The winch is not included, but the Desert Dogs are. They appear in decent shape.
