Nice Slattie!
“1942 Willy’s MB slat grill #109964. DOD is: 1-8-42. A 3-year frame off restoration was completed in June 2007. This slat grill is used mostly for veteran related events, parades and car shows. This is a popular and a favorite vehicle at shows and has won several awards. It has been driven less than 1000 miles total. I drive the jeep at least once every 2-3 weeks and keep it in good working condition.
The original tub was not useable but much care was taken to detail to make the new one as accurate as possible. The slat has many of the original parts such as: brass data plates, frame, grill, split seam front seats, original back seat, steering wheel, column and steering box, short bodied distributor, “steel” marked pintal, “tiger eye” lenses, solid disc wheels, light assemblies, square shouldered footman loops, brake and clutch pedals, filterette, extinguisher and brackets, many TR20/EC/A/AA bolts and the list goes on ….”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6400.

Given the winch, top, full cage, spring reversal and extra parts, this looks like a very good price.
“1949 Willys Jeep CJ-2A – Chevy 350 V-8, GM Auto Trans and Transfer Case, new battery, Chevy steering, master cylinder on firewall, upgraded radiator, transmission cooler, full roll cage, bucket seats, B&M shifter, nice windshield and Best Top newer top. Body is in very good shape. Heavy duty front bumper with a working Warn upright winch (8,000 lbs. power in and manual out), and roller fairlead. Front shackle reversal, chrome wheels mounted with WildCat 31×10.50 tires. It still has the stock front and rear differentials and stock brakes…BUT…this Jeep comes with a 48 Willys Jeep that has a DANA 44 front end and a power steering box mounted in the frame with a damaged tub. In addition, you will also get a windshield frame, right front fender, grill with lights, radiator, gas tank, transmission and transfer case, and hood, I have also collected a CB radio and antennae, tach, turn signal unit, a power boost master cylinder off of a Wrangler, almost new bikini top, half doors, a back seat and side steps. Clear and clean title in hand, $2,400 or (maybe) partial cash and firearms. Jeep is located in downtown Myrtle Creek area, exit 108 on I-5.”
This looks very good.
“231 Buick V6, rebuilt tranny, rearend, front axels, headers to much to list, runs strong and have all documents.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
HOG spotted this one. I looked back in my posts for this CJ-3B, but it doesn’t appear to be there. I’m sure it’s all good, but just in case … the seller buys the jeep for the dad from cali and now is selling for the mom, except the title was never transferred from cali, so wouldn’t the seller actually be selling it for himself as the signer on the old title? Finally, the serial number of #4J37357 is incorrect, so I’d investigate that as well.
“I bought this Jeep for my Dad back in March 2010…He has since past away and I have no need of another Jeep, So I am selling this for my Mom. It is a 1954 Willys CJ3B that has had some modifications done to it over the years…. There is nothing wrong with the jeep it runs and drives fine…..Someone has taken chrome diamond plate and made a dash for it with all the gagues and added a Tachometer……It has a Tow bar and high lift jack that come with it……..If you are going to drive it on the highway the tires will need to be balanced and at some point it will need tires…The motor is a 260 Ford V8 with dual exhaust and starts and runs great…..Brakes all work good…..Transmission and overdrive shift fine…..All gauges work…Has a complete soft top with doors and a roll bar…… Seats are not torn but do not match in color…..The front end and steering box are out of a later mdel Jeep and all the 4 wheel drive works fine….It has two gas tanks, but only one is hooked up….There is no rust on the Jeep the floors panels are solid and rust free has a few minor digs in the hood and body, but nothig major……Tail gate has been replaced with solid panel…..Someone has added leafs to the spring and a set of Air shocks in the rear……I have a low reserve on this Jeep in order to sell quickly,it’s worth much more than the reserve price….It has a clear transferable California title………Ask questions before bidding…Sold as is…I can store for 6 months with payment made in full…. If you are serious about it I can e-mail more pictures.”
Sure there are a few dings and dents, but it looks solid and the top appears fine. You’ll just need to get a title.
“No title for this jeep just bill of sale . 1969 model with v6 engine. Frame is solid. 4 wheel drive works. all original. some dents and dings. Paint not great. 33k miles is shown on the odometer, not sure how acurate it is. 4 speed manual trnamsion. Call (516)807-1464 for inquiries.”
This looks like a fantastic price!

It’s got a nice top and runs, but has some rust issues.
