About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Charles is selling this M-38. He has other vehicles for sale in similar condition that will be shown at the Military Vehicle Collector Show next year in June 2018.
“This rare example of a historic M38 has been professionally restored to “better than new condition.” The history of this U. S. Army Jeep is well known. It was purchased by a U. S. Soldier when both he and the vehicle arrived home to the states from the Korean War. It was assigned to the 10th Mountain Division. The soldier who purchased this jeep couldn’t get a Greyhound bus ticket so he bought this jeep to make his way home to Wisconsin. My father is the 3rd private owner of this vehicle.
As you can see from the pictures, this jeep has been appropriately outfitted with restored and working communications equipment. It includes antennas, a windshield canvas cover, first aid kit, tool kit, full canvas top, curtains, doors and bows.
Must see to appreciate the detail put into this restoration.
Asking $23,500 as described. Please contact Charles at 502-896-2303 during normal business hours. Please, serious inquiries only. Title in hand.”

“I am selling my 1948 Willys Jeep CJ 2A. It is in really good condition. All DMV stuff is up to date with current registration. It runs great! It has original flat head engine. It manual with 4×4. I have the original all 4 rims and other parts for Jeep that will be included with purchase. Asking for $6900! Please don’t waist your or my time if you are not a serious buyer”
“For sale is a restored Willys CJ2A. It has the 4cyl flathead with 3sp manual transmission. This Jeep has no rust, solid throughout, runs, drives and impresses. Price is obo and would consider trades for a nice Wrangler.
Had it examined by a shop I trust from front to back and will share every detail during showing.”
Looks like a good restoration candidate or leave as is.
“Here is a classy Jeep from the past. This Jeep is in good condition for its age. Pretty much a “barn find”, and was on a family farm from 1960-2014. Original 6v system, new battery, plugs wires, and rebuilt starter. Good compression on the cylinders, Turns, over fine, one problem is the distributor has rusted to the block and timing is off. Once the distributor is free the timing can be set correctly. The rebuilds and new items I will mention were done a year prior to my acquisition in 2015 by the previous owner. Some of the items that he did are as follows: New Battery tray; new spare tire, rim and bracket to the frame pads; and new shift lever boots. Brakes have been rebuilt with master cylinder and new brake lines(they definitely need to be bled); new steel gas tank; new side mirror; new front floor plan, new front seat frames and vinyl seat cushions; new steering gear and shaft; new non-directional military tires and tubes; rebuilt generator; re-cored radiator; replacement windshield glass and frame; exhaust system approximately five years old;
New handbrake cable; new choke and throttle cable; new inner windshield rubber & windshields to cowl rubber.
New and original extra parts include: 6v distributor; L&S PTO C-10002; 640603 Drum pulley unit; 6v Harrison heater H-441-48; Pierce governor with mounting brackets; original grill screen; original wheel drum puller from Willys repair shop; original single-hand windshield wiper (needs rubber) All gauges and lights work. Has original oil bath breather, tool box has no rust.”
