About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1946 CJ2A Runs great.
Brakes work too. Has 5 brand new
Tires, brand new soft top and brand doors, original rebuilt carburetor, and new fuel pump and plugs. 4wd works as it should. Starts right up every time. Transmission freshly rebuilt. Seats are in good physical shape but need cleaning. 12 volt system freshly wired with heater. New battery also.”
“1946 Willys for sale $11,995 O.B.O. Hi my name is Steve and we are selling my father-in-laws 1946 Willys. I don’t have a ton of info on this vehicle and can’t ask him because he past away in March of this year. We have the title in hand. I know the vehicle runs because I’ve driven in it with him but I haven’t tried to start it.”
Looks pretty stock. It only shows 10,000 original miles, but the odometer cable could have broken.
“I found this Old Willys Jeep in a Barn way up in the Pennsylvania Mountains from a long time family friend, it’s only got 10,000 original miles on it, 4 cylinder 4×4, good dry cab, good glass, some rust here and there, hasn’t ran in years, I may mess with it and try to start it if I get a chance, clear title, great winter project,”
“For Sale
1943 Willys MB
$12,000
Located in Carthage, NY
This is an original WW2 Jeep brought over from Europe in 2010. It was restored sometime in the late 80’s to early 90’s in Belgium. I bought it in Germany from one of my high school teachers in 2005 and over the years it has become part of the family. I have put a lot of time and money into this vehicle and hate to see it go but my life has taken an unexpected turn and the wife says I can’t sell one of the kids so here it is. Continue reading →
“1956 Jeep CJ-6.
This is a refurbished Montana Jeep. The rebuilt motor runs excellent, new brakes, and new radial tires. There are a few small dings and imperfections in the body, but it is in generally good condition with no rust. The seats have been reupholstered with new vinyl and foam. Roll-on liner coats the inside well adding traction and protection. Please call or text with questions.”
(10/11/2015) The DJ guys report this is a solid Surrey.
“Older restoration by previous owners.
No top, bows or hardware.
Minor mechanicals needed.
Sitting 10+ years.
Current non-op.
Runs, drives, everything works.
Very clean and complete body.
Minor scrapes and scratches.
Price is firm, see to appreciate, don’t waste my time and yours.”
“957 Willys Jeep CJ3B. Runs and drives well. New wheel cylinders, master cylinder and flex brake lines. New fuel tank and rebuilt carburetor. Very little rust, the worst being the rear floor due to having a mat in it for years but it’s still very usable as is. Now it’s far from perfect but it functions like a Jeep should. With a new set of tires it will be a great Jeep. Price is $2800 so the first one with $2800 will take it away. No text. No trades. No help to sell it.”
Are AVM hubs a newer hub? I’m not familiar with them.
