Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Engine has been rebuilt along with the transmission. All parts are from the same type of jeep. Must see .. Great for hunting, camping and in the woods .. Tows easy .. Has been in Payson, AZ for the past 10 years.”

“This Willys has been owned by me for 12 years. It was given to me as a gift and the previous owner was from Austin. Original Hurricane F-Head 4-cylinder engine. Has a black soft top. New: Fuel Pump, Carburetor Kit, Gas tank cleaning. Everything Works: Lights, Gauges, Horn, Wiper, Blower, Good Tires. RUNS GREAT!”

(08/21/2014) “Jeep M-38 1951 Korean War Era complete with fording kit (not installed) Restoration completed in 2007 Includes M-100 Trailer (restored in late 80s) Jeep 95% restored. Winter top plus windshield canvas jacket.”
Jim spotted this stock CJ-5.
“You are bidding on a 38k original mile gem. This jeep was originally purchased in California and made it’s way to Oklahoma in 1986. The jeep has been garage kept all of it’s life. This jeep was purchased from the original owning family in 2002, the odometer at that time was 13,240.
There is zero rust in the body of this Jeep and very minor surface rust. The paint is factory original, color code 433, Spring Green. The Jeep has never been off-roaded and has only been daily driven.
The body and frame are factory straight, and it retains it’s original engine and 3-speed drivetrain.
When the Kayline top was installed, it was ordered built without snaps so it could be matched up to the original snap holes.
The Jeep starts, runs, shifts and stops excellent. One minor modification is the addition of an HEI ignition.
The Jeep has the new Kayline top as well as new seat upholstery and new tires. They were replaced due to dry rot and wear.”

“Older Jeep in running condition. New Battery, Carburetor, fuel tank recently repaired. This used to be a Military Jeep but has been stripped and 12 volt system installed. Model M-170. Body is intact but needs work. Body parts available.

“1952 M-38 Willy’s Military Jeep in exceptional condition. This Jeep has been converted to 12 volt with all new wiring with Military Spec wire and connectors. It has blackout lights front and back that are operational. All dash lights and gauges work. Engine runs great, vacuum windshield wipers are operational, rare folding rear seat with cushions and seatbelts. Almost complete rust-free body. Current California vehicle registration with clear title. I have new seat cover for drivers seat and side doors not shown in pictures. Other parts available. ”
