About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1952 Jeep Willys M38 with original body frame, engine, and running gear.
Recently service and upgrade with all new original replacement parts cost over $2000. Perfect daily drive, needs new battery.”
Some pics show windshield lettering and other don’t. I don’t know which are most recent.
“This is a 1944 GPW Ford made WW2 Jeep with title. I fully rebuilt this jeep less than 3 years ago with a frame off restoration. The engine, clutch and transmission have been professionally rebuilt. I have over 400 documented hours into the restoration, and I’ve spent much more than the asking price. its had only 700 trouble free miles since its overhaul.
This restoration uses the original tub, frame, parts and sheet metal. Reproduction parts have been kept to a minimum. It has an original Ford WW2 engine but not numbers matching.
The good: runs and drives great, is restored, new everything from the wiring harness to brakes to drivetrain to the tires.
The not so good: leak between tcase and trans. Not an original WW2 carb, horn, or speedo gauge (these are incredibly rare and would add a lot of $$ to the price). Converted to 12 volt for simplicity. I did a disk brake conversion. Would give you the parts to restore it to original if desired.
Price does not include the replica .30 cal machine gun and pintle mount. These are cheap if you must have one. Canvas top, ax and shovel are not original or included.
reason for selling: I’m restoring a WC dodge and the wife says I have too many projects around. She wants the place picked up. Price is firm but If we must negotiate I could keep the original tandem tow bar or other things and save you money.
NO CL flakes, low baller flippers or tire kickers pls. I don’t have to sell this. These antiques will go crazy with value in the future and are a great investment.”
“Rare 1963 Willys Cj3b Jeep. 4 cyl. 3 spd w/ 4wd, in great condition and runs very well. Compression good on all cylinders and the valves have just been checked and adjusted. New paint, tires and summer top. also includes winter top. Drive it home and have a great summer. Needs nothing besides a emergency brake cable.”
“We are moving out-of-state and, sadly, can’t take my pride and joy with me; had so many dreams to restore this awesome 1948 Willys CJ2A. The engine is in very good condition and runs well! The body is in good shape with a brand new set of five tires. There is a black soft top (shown), a bikini top, doors and roll-bar included. I tried to get as good of pics as I could, but you really need to come see this old mountain goat to appreciate it. It will need a little bodywork and paint to make it cherry. But, if you need it to get around in the mountains, or woods, then just add a wench and you’re ready to go! This is priced right for a great restoration project also; don’t miss out on this beauty. I have clear title.
My price of $5,000 is a no-haggle, bottom dollar price, and I will not accept less. So, no need to ask. 🙂“
“You are looking at a recently restored 1964 Willys CJ3B. Has a clean FL title, and Historic tags.
This CJ3B was resurrected during June-July 2015. Restored to running condition. (If you see anything missing in the picture its probably in my parts box pending installation)
The engine starts every single time with no issues at all. Driven regularly.
New:
fuel tank
fuel lines
brake lines
brake shoes
master cylinder
brake cylinders
radiator fan shroud
wiring harness
paint
upholstery
floors
bikini top
radiator
thermostat
temperature sender
Every both money and man hours spent on this CJ3B are well documented. Many pictures of the restoration available.
Make me a reasonable offer. Open to negotiation. Please feel free to ask any and all questions. Shoot me an email and I will, in most cases, respond within the hour.”
“New engine with less than 100 miles, working 4 wheel drive, one family ownership and garaged since 1960, new clutch and windshield, needs only minor cosemetic work”
“54 Willys 3B with F-134 engine, T90 3 speed, and Dana 18 transfer case. Jeep has had a light restoration from previous owner(s) over the years but is still mostly stock as you can see in the pics. Everything works and the Jeep runs/drives nice. Converted to 12 volts but still has push button floor starter. Newer parts include complete wiring harness, carb, fuel pump, leaf springs, tires, battery, gauges, brakes (shoes, wheel cylinders, hardware kits, and some lines), tune up etc…. Rims have been powder coated and the seats are reupholstered. I have some extra parts as well including a tow bar, spare rim, period correct Harrison heater (needs rebuilding) and misc other stuff. Jeep has a vintage Bestop Dualmatic soft top in very good condition as well. I’m sure I’m forgetting other things but the Jeep pretty much speaks for itself. Serious inquiries only please.”
“I have a partially restored 1961 Willys Wagon. Motor, brakes, radiator, starter, alternator all 100 % restored and rebuilt. Drivetrain works great. New paint inside and out. needs interior and a little TLC. I have paperwork on all engine specs and receipts for all work that was done. I also have pictures of restoration from start to present. I am only selling because I started another project and I don’t want the truck to sit in storage.”
