About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Want a classic that is original? It runs, it drives….very original including engine. I love this car but need room in garage. Take care of her for me.”
“You are looking at a 1952 M38A1 Willies Army Jeep. This jeep would be a great restoration project for some one looking to complete such a project. It is in actually really great condition, it starts and runs with no issues. The drive train is in fine shape and I have drove it many times on public roads. 4 wheel drive works perfectly and transmission has no issues with popping out of gear. The clutch has just been replaced so it is brand new. It is equipped with the original engine, it does probably need a rebuild as the jeep is a little smokey which tells me she is burning a little oil. However it does not seem to be leaking oil all over the ground.
Rust is there, I wont lie she is rusty, but it all for the most part is surface rust that can be removed by a good bead blast. There is no heavy deep rot settling into the frame or the body.
It has been converted to a 12 Volt system however there are still components of the 24 volt system still installed, like the head lights which I am pretty sure were the same ones that were on it the day it left the factory.
It has been repainted on multiple occasions however there are signs of the OD Military paint showing through in various parts under the hood in the engine compartment, body, and drive train. Although the unfortunate side is that all the original data plates have been lost or removed.
It has a clean title and is registered in the State of AZ, I would not recommend driving it home as the tires are around 22 years old and the brakes need some work. “
“jeep was running when parked 6 yrs. ago/needs cleaned up/battery/fuel syst./brakes/been sitting along time have clear tittle/if interested can give more info/ trade for hunting 4 wheeler or sale”

(08/23/2014) Originally a Forest Service truck. No photo of a gov plate. May be worth a look.
“1960 factory built forestry truck. Originally sold to a private party in Colorado. This truck is in amazing unrestored original condition. Flathead hurricane 6cyl, rebuilt carb, new exhaust, runs and drives needs minor work to be on the road. Sorry about these photos they do this vehicle no justice. Must be seen in person. Contact Tim Monday thru Sat for details.”

(07/07/2014) Nice looking CJ-6. Are those plates on the sides original?
“This is an original Kaiser Jeep with the original 225 V6 engine. The engine is strong and runs great. It has a new Rochester carburetor with original oil bath filter. The transfer case, shifters, and lockers are all fully functional. The gearbox is quiet and shifts excellently. Just had the seats professionally re-upholstered to the original specs. It also has the original front seat belts. Lap belts of course. This Jeep is solid all around and with no rust issues. The body on the Jeep is also all original with no welding or modified hack jobs. The suspension has never been modified. It has a new speedometer. The paint is not original and faded as it is a classic Jeep. The top is in rough shape but it comes with all of the bows and door frames. This is an old Jeep, but extremely well preserved in great running condition. You rarely find them like this anymore.”
