Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s a little rough for the asking price. Listed as a 1956, it is actually a 1959 based on the serial number 5633716301. It only has 11,000 miles.

“1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep with working Jeep-a-Trench option and well pulling option. Can trench about 6 feet down.
— Jeep runs well but engine does smoke… a lot out the exhaust.
— Jeep drives and shifts through the gears fine.
— No brakes
— No glass in windshield
— Fuel pump doesn’t work so currently running off a gravity feed bottle.
— Not much rust on body
— battery tray is rusted out. battery must have leaked at one point.
— Has a clean title

“Amazing 1952 Willys CJ3A for sale. I bought this from the gentleman who restored it in California and have enjoyed it for the last year. Original California Jeep. I’ve owned three Willys Jeep’s and researched them for years and this is the nicest I have ever seen. It runs and drives great, no issues. Manual 3 speed, 4 cylinder. Jeep has PTO drive and period correct Ramsey winch with belt drive extension (rear mounted for farm implements etc.). Top is in perfect condition. Neat period correct fire extinguisher mounted on front bumper. Electric windshield wipers. Front seat belts. Come see to appreciate!

4 cylinder, fresh oil before winter in engine and front/rear diffs.
4×4 works great.
Rusty.
Snow plow works great. Hydraulics up and down. Has Jeep hydraulic pump that runs off of engine belt. ”

Here’s a rare Safari-Kar for sale.
“ight hand drive!!! Bought this mail jeep in 2006. Only used it for a few runs for the post office but then the post office provided everyone with new jeeps. runs great but its been sitting covered up under my carport. Installed the mail rack (see pics) and comes with the second seat.
