About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
I don’t remember any CJ-6s with flat rear fenderwells like that.
“1973 Jeep CJ-6.
V-8
Theses are very rare due to the longer wheelbase (104″) making it a lot more stable. The jeep runs and drives good. New brakes, new battery and the front seats rebuilt. Drive it as is or rebuild it”
“1967 Willys Jeep CJ-6 Universal. This jeep is one of the rarest jeeps made in modern history. It is 20″ longer than a CJ-5 and is the predecessor to the CJ-8 Scrambler. This jeep came with the Dauntless V-6, which is a Buick design that GM sold to Willys, so 3.8 Buick parts will work on this motor. The vehicle has 24k original miles and has a three speed transmission, backed by a t-18 warn transfer case. The jeep has a 2″ lift with warn locking hubs. I still have the following items:
Roll bar
Soft top ( dry rotted)
Back seat
Doors
Rear seat”
The truck is complete, as the seller suggests, but it looks solid. Dan spotted this one.
“I have a 1949 Willy’s pick Up that was found in a Barn in Oregon and had been there for the past ten years. This truck is complete, runs great. I just bought the Oil Bathe Breather that was missing. This has 91,000 Original Miles on it.It has the original L-Head 4 Cylinder Motor This is perfect for a daily driver, or complete restoration to use for a business, or going to the Farmers Market,or week-end drives on the Coast……. exploring. You won’t find another like this. It is solid, and I need to sell it for health issues I just found out about. I really always wanted one. But, as life has it, it is not to be. I just want it to go too a good home, as I intended. I will be posting more pics soon. Please e-mail me, & include your # . No Trades,of any kind. I am sick, & need the CASH. SERIOUS BUYERS . I have already been Low Balled by some idiot. I am sick, & do not have time for Silly games, or idiots. Include your # please. No # ….No response.”
“1951 Willys Jeep CJ3A. Fully restored, turn key, runs and drives like new. rebuilt original flathead 4 cylinder “go devil” motor. rebuilt original 3 speed transmission and transfer case. Complete restore and painted finished 3 years ago. Color is Willys “Pasture Green”. Would prefere to sell outright, but would concider trades for, 100hp tractor, Harley, Old car, or?..”
“I have for sale an early Willys CJ2A. No title, doesn’t run, but has a super nice body, frame, etc. plus a rarely seen factory metal top. These 2A’s usually have the body eaten up with rust, everywhere but the desert southwest, but this is an exception. Would like to sell it just like it sits, but would consider parting, depending on what you need.”
“1948 Willys Jeep that has minimal rust, runs good, but does need a little work. This jeep is for someone who appreciates the old Willys Jeeps……not your freeway Barbie Jeep.”
“i have an original willis jeep, when i bought this i was told it was a 1943 so that’s what i’m going on.it is complete, just needs restoration. $2000 cash”
