Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (02/16/2012) This appears to be rusty along both sides.
“1953 CJ3B, with hard top and doors. All original, unmodified, very complete except for brakes. Clear, modern Idaho title.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $1200.

“Up for sale is a 1962 Willys CJ3B. Barn Stored.
The truck is a friend’s fathers who put the truck away at least 25 years ago untouched in his spare barn. The truck had a piece of plywood and tarp over the roll bar to prevent anything from dripping or falling on top of it. He was also a mechanic.
It has been removed from the barn and is looking for a good home.

This looks good, though no top bow brackets on the driver’s side.
“Complete frame off restoration in 2007-2008 including re-built original 4 cylinder engine, transmission and transfer case, new wiring, brakes, gauges, etc. Original Picket Gray paint, always garaged. Approximately 850 miles since rebuilt. A nice, nice Jeep.”

(04/30/2013) The tailgate was cut, but this looks good otherwise.

“1959 Willys FC-150 pick up truck. 1 of 3,048 made. 5,000 GVW. NO engine in truck. I do have a 4 cyl F-head engine or V8 304 AMC engine that you can choose from. Has adapter for small block Chevy with bell housing. All drive train and rad in truck with standard shift. Jeep built on CJ5 factory chassy. Minimum rust. Has been sanded and sprayed with rust inhibitor and gray primer. Ready for restoration. $3,750.
