1955 Wagon Sonoma, CA $14,000

• CATEGORIES: Willys Wagons • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

This wagon has Dan stumped.  He writes, “I am stumped what this 1955 wagon is. It has the grill, gauges, etc. of a 1950s wagon, but the panel doors of a Parkway Conversion BUT the sliding windows of a regular wagon. It also is 2×4. If it were a 1960s wagon, I’d chalk it up to WIllys end-of-the-run production variances. Maybe it’s just a special order.

“1955 Willys Station Wagon. This wagon has a very solid body, body and paint completed 12 months ago. It has a mustang front end which means disc breaks and easy steering.
The engine is a Mopar wide block Polly head 318 with 10.5 to 1 compression ratio,
It runs strong, it was probably out of a 1970 truck. 2 barrel carb for good gas mileage. Not sure what the rear gears are but it cruises fine on the Highway.
Automatic transmission, 747, which was rebuilt two thousand miles ago.
It has very rare ambulance back doors so it is easy to load.
For the last nine years I have enjoyed driving her as a daily driver.
I am asking $14,000”

1946 CJ-2A Lompoc, CA **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.

This was a barn find that has had some work done.

“This Jeep just began rolling the streets after it was in a barn for over 20 years. I arested the surface rust on the outside and it still remains to be adressed underneath. The tool box is shot but still holds some gear. Surface rust uinderneath is not bad. The tool box area is the worst. The jeep has a couple spots on the floor level on the outsides that needs cut out, patched and painted but not bad. I put a 12 volt alternater and lights in the unit and new emergency breaks. New plugs, points and condenser. I replaced the main break and fuel line and fuel tank. New master break cylinder. I had to repair the fuel pump attachment. One bolt was sheared off and it was inop. I have an extra fuel filter on it now too. I love to four wheel drive in it. There is no stoping it. I get so much attention from Every age group that its embarrasing. I drive with the windshield down. There is no glass in the passenger side. No seat belts as of yet. All the lights work and are new. I installed one break light. The horn is a jewell and people love to hear it. There is no top or roll bar. I like it as origional as possible. Simple, clean and fun and handy. Can deliver.”

1952 M-38 Planty City, FL eBay

• CATEGORIES: M-38 • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  This is on eBay, too.

(09/04/2012) This seller want a Model A.

“This is my 1952 Model M38 U.S. Army jeep. Garage kept. This is one the last of the flat fender jeeps. Introduced in 1950 at the beginning of the Korean war. Only 45,173 were made. Production ended in Sept of 1952. I rebuilt it from the ground up, complete body off restoration 3 years ago. NO RUST ANYWHERE! All parts were sandblasted and primed. This included the chassis, body, fenders, and all parts large and small. Any rusted parts were discarded and replaced. All new NDCC military tires, new brake system, new wiring harness, gas tank seats, canvas. The jeep had a Ford Pinto engine when I got it. I got rid of that and installed a rebuilt Willys L4-134 “Go Devil” 60 HP engine which was the original for this Jeep. I also upgraded to a 12 Volt system including a one wire alternator. Installed front seat belts and turn signals. The drive train is in excellent operating condition. It’s been driven only 1000 miles or so since restore. Mostly to military, car shows, and parades. The siren gets this Jeep plenty of attention at parades and at these events from vets and the general public. Lots of “Thumbs Up” from other drivers when driven around town. Drive it anywhere at 40 or 45 MPH. For longer distances, it has a tow bar with 2″ ball and electrical connections. It can be flat towed. No trailer needed.
.
I have really enjoyed the Jeep, But it’s time get a new toy.. I have always had interest in Model A Fords and would be interested in trading for a coupe or roadster with rumble seat. in comparable condition. If you have one, email me with a pix a brief description. If we are mutually interested, we can go from there. Not interested in hot rods or repros. Just a plain old Model A.”

1952 M-38A1 De Pere, WI **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: M-38A1 • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  Was $12,500. **SOLD**

(08/24/2012) This looks well maintained.

“This is an original military Jeep from the Korean war years. Excellent condition, fun to drive! This is the real deal!

I’ve been putting the final touches on cleaning up this Jeep, which the pictures will demonstrate is in great condition.

I purchased the vehicle from a family in Waukesha, Wisconsin that used it for a family drives. Vehicle was owned by a collector in Minnesota prior to that, and by another in Wisconsin before him. Purchaser will get all information I have on the vehicle, but I’m only as far back as 1992.

The Jeep comes with the axe, shovel, radio and power supply, 1” manilla bumper rope, canvas, seat belts, and ORIGINAL 1952 M38A1 Operator’s Manual, as would have been with the vehicle in a military motor pool. Vehicle is still the original 24volt electric system.

I hope that someone else can enjoy this vehicle as much as I do. I highly recommend getting one (like this) that is already restored, because if you try to buy one of these 5-9k ones, you will end up putting a ton of money into it.”

This is a very low mileage original 1945 Willys MB Jeep. I purchased this Jeep from the original family in 2005. It was in a heated storage area for the last 35 years. The Jeep was still in the crate when purchased. I am the second owner of this fine piece.  This MB still has all original canvas seats cushions, crash pads, door straps, original data plates and the original windshield glass (with dates). The Jeep also has all (5) of its original Goodyear tires with the synthetic S3 markings. This is one of the nicest untouched MB’s ever offered for sale – a rare opportunity to purchase a Christmas present in this condition.”
