This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Date feb, 25 1943 serial #215159 frame#215159. Runs and drives, Includes:combat wheels,43 jerry gas can,misc. extra parts. There are Some rust area’s, but over all pretty solid for the year.”

(05/23/2012) “The jeep is in great running condition, and still has the original L-134 inline four cylinder that starts right up and drives, no problems. The jeep shifts three on the tree. Two wheel drive. Shows 97 miles on the odometer. Always stored inside and the condition reflects that. It was partially restored by the previous owner, and received new paint and upholstery. Tires are in great shape. Let me know if you would like to come and see it.”
Rob was waiting for family in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, while on vacation when he spotted this nice looking truck.
He writes, “I went out into the parking lot to see if I could find some old Jeeps and there it was in the parking lot , nice looking truck. Did not find the owner. Hope the pictures turned out. Rob.”
This has a V6 in it right now.

This FC supposedly spent it’s life running the railroad tracks. No railroad wheels left according to the seller.
“Hello Gearheads. Here is a very restorable, rare vehicle for your consideration. A ton of great parts, or easy restoration. It is a 1962 Jeep FC170 truck that is in great unrestored condition. It of course is 4wd, with a snow blade, ( hydraulics have been rebuilt )… Great driver that runs like a top. Only 72,983 actual miles. Ex- railroad truck that spent its life running up and down the tracks, has instruction plate, but no wheels for running the tracks ( sorry to all you hazzard boys ) Has new radiator, water pump, brakes, new brake and fuel lines. Completely rebuilt bed with a substantial metal plate floor ready for the toughest thing you can throw into it. Original red paint under primer, all wiring original and proofed with everything working. needs only tires for state inspection. easy to bring to tip top condition or use as is.
