This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “THIS IS A 1960 WILLYS FORWARD CONTROL JEEP PICKUP TRUCK. IT WAS RESTORED ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO, AND IS SHOWING SOME SIGNS OF NEEDING SOME FRESHENING UP. IT LOOKS LIKE NEW FROM 15 FEET, BUT THERE IS SOME BUBBLING AND CRACKING HERE AND THERE IN THE PAINT. THE MILEAGE WAS SET BACK TO ZERO WHEN IT WAS RESTORED. THE INTERIOR IS REALLY NICE AND SO IS THE BED. IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL WEIGHT ON THE FRAME. THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE IS COMPLETE AND WORKING. IT RUNS AND DRIVES BUT NEEDS A TUNE UP. “1947 Willys Jeep, original, in excellent condition. Runs great. $4,800.00 Was my fathers and he has passed away. We’ve been using it to pull the trailer and haul the hay off the field. It has a fiberglass top that goes with it. It’s not on right now. I haven’t figured out how to put pictures on this yet. So call 208-5two9two865. Thanks”

“1942 Ford GPW ” Jeep “- , yes it is a real World War II Army Jeep. Original Running gear, frame axle, transaxles, engine, grill & hood. New lines, brakes, lights & wiring. Replaced the tub with authentic high quality steel tub from Omixada. Rebuilt Engine, New seats and covers. Runs and drives great. Hard to find military model in extremely good shape.
the jeep is registered in minnesota with a salvage tittle as we replaced the body. The jeep has a tube radio with slide mount that really works.”

UPDATE: Sold. Was priced at $1500. Apparently this didn’t run after all, but does turnover.
This runs, though it is now powered by a Ford motor. And, the inside needs a make over, but the price might be good. It’s been converted to propane, too.
