About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Found in a barn 20 years ago, have been slowly restoring it over that long time. Runs and drives fine. This one originally came with an aluminum officers insulated cab. It was built in the middle of the only 60k that were produced. All Beechwood canvas original interior and top. Used only in parades and shows, have trophies.”
(08/23/2010) This looks like it has been done recently.

“1943 GPW “FORD”
All original!!! Runs great! No Work or paint needed.
History:
This Jeep was used in the Vietnam War – the Serial number (20378394) is the original US Army number (101 AB Division).
This Jeep was brought back from the Vietnam war by a Four Stars Army General who currently resides in Rancho Santa Fe in San Diego county.
The Jeep was his personal transportation during the war. The name of the General will not be released due to privacy reasons.
The General completely restored it and kept it maintained.
(09/19/2011) The engine is apart and floor needs work.
“Very rare 1959 Jeep FC-170 pickup truck with 9 foot steel bed. Have looked all over the country in Craigslists and cannot find another.
Truck was disassembled and body work, sanding and primer done and reassembled. Contineltal L-226 engine disassembled for inspection. Probably needs bearings, rings, valves ground and reassembled (or else install engine of your choice).
It has HD 3-speed trannsmission, drive shafts, good radiator, good tires. Doors are good and straight – they
open and close easily, need new door seals (door to body). Both original bucket seats need recovered.
Truck is original – not lowered, raised or modified in any way.
The floor in bed needs replaced, or a piece of sheet metal or wood layed on top of existing floor. It apparently has set outside and the bed floor rusted. The floor support cross members are good and solid.”

“Hello, I have a 1946 Jeep Willys CJ2A for sale. It is all original (never been restored). It has a PTO on the back. It runs great and is in darn good condition for being so old. So if your a company that is gonna call me and ask about that, don’t bother. Please no scammers, save your time and mine as well. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY. thanks for looking.”
Garage kept for many years. Very little rust, original body with Willy’s logos on fenders, Windshield and tailgate. 12-volt system. Includes Title, Parts Manual and Chilton Repair Guide. It is not running. It has not been driven for over 5 years. The carburator needs to be rebuilt and there are no breaks. The transmission is in good shape. The back seats are unusual, but it looks good otherwise.
