Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “GR Auto Gallery is pleased to bring to market this gorgeous and freshly restored 1959 Willys DJ3a for your consideration. This example is powered by its original L134 “Go Devil” engine paired with a 3 speed on the three manual transmission. This Surrey tribute is not documented as a Surrey but before its restoration at had some parts leading towards evidence of it being one including chrome rear bumper, Willys hubcaps, round dry air filter, front frame cover and steps.
During the restoration the top was new, carburetor was rebuilt, complete brake system was addressed and the drums were turned, the frame was redone and finished with POR15, the gas tank was also cleaned and sealed POR15 tank sealer, new exhaust, new shocks, new tires.”

“Up for sale is a 1946 Willys CJ-2A farm Jeep. It sits in its all original condition. Never any metal patch work and or re paints. Does not currently run. Has PTO with lift and governor underneath the hood. All original gauges, seats, top bow brackets, paint, wheels and tires. Truly a special rare restoration project.”
UPDATE: This sold almost immediately for full asking price of $11,000.

“1945 Willys MB Military Jeep, WW2. Unrestored and mostly original, runs and drives well and pretty reliable. It has a layer of Dust on it, but it has been maintained well. New Carburetor and Fuel Pump, Silicone Brake Fluid, original Tools and Canvas Pop. Many Spare Parts included.”
