This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 Willys Jeep 3J3A. New Motor, New top, 16′ wheels & tires, 4 cyl 4 wheel drive, new brakes & lines, willy’s tailgate. 12 volt start system, electric wiper.”

“1956 Willys pickup.All original. Box has been modified slightly. Must have been some kind of ranch truck. Runs fine but after driving around for a while oil pressure gets low. has a little ticking noise. Needs gas tank(missing was rusted out) and fuel pump(leaks) to get back on road. Odometer says 21000 miles, not sure if that is correct. pedals feel solid and shifts fine in all gears, 4×4, low range. Previous own did work on transfer case and interior. Still 6 volt I drove it around Rapid the winter of 07/08 a lot. Been sitting most of time since then. I just start it up every now and then. I don”t have time to fix it up. The gas line needs flushing, but I am not sure if it runs or not.
