These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
It looks like 1 1/2 parts jeeps, but this may be a good price if the body isn’t too bad.
“Two Jeeps, one complete 49 CJ3a with clear tittle. Engine is moisture locked, but didnt run when it turned over. Drive train is fine, clutch, trans and tranfer case all functional,solid frame and body. The second unit has no body, but a complete running gear and motor. This motor has been been rebuilt with many new parts and a 12 volt system, but is also moisture locked, this frame is solid and has a complete PTO with shaft.”
(03/23/2010) This looks like a great restoration project for someone not looking to do an entire project at once. Note the owner has a notebook with the original documentation about this.
“For sale is a 1951 Willy’s Jeepster. All orig. was Yellow and black, prev. owner painted it to current color. has all 4 curten’s in good shape. Top is good with no holes or tears. seats are ok.But need to be recovered, has 4 cyld 3 speed overdrive.Starts and runs great. Battery needs to be replaced, Body and Paint work are a 10 footer. Prev. owner replaced floor pan’s. they look good but need to be trimed to make a nice neet job. But these are useable! But new ones are only 300.00 I wanted to restore this jeepster. but just don’t have the time or the money.You could drive this while you work on it. its realy cook to drive around. For a car this age its really in good shape. the frame is very solid, as is the body.Just needs alot of sanding and a good paint job. sold as is with a ga bill of sale. your state will honer this. A 500.00 non refundable deposit is due at the end of auction. Balance is due when car is picked up.If you live close please come and look.Any questions please email me. “1952 willys jeep truck runs great, everthing works crome is in very good shape there is two rust holes about the size of a quarter. the rest of the body is in good shape. all origenal. 4cyld motor.”
“This “Go-anywhere,” “Tough-job traction” truck is on the market here for the first time in over 20 years. Originally purchased from a glass co. in OHIO by the current owner. He has done a complete frame off restoration as you can plainly see in the photos. Introduced in 1957 the Jeep Willys FC-170 was wider and carried a heavier load than the FC-150. It has a Kaiser 6-226 motor inline 6 that is good on gas. You won’t get stuck with high/low option 4WD and LT235/85R16 tires.
The bed is made of appatong wood said to be 5 times harder than oak for those heavy loads. The truck has a 7,000 lb. GVW, a 103″ wheelbase with a 108″ bed. The Cab-over design is very unique. There were approximately 2,000 FC-170’s built in ’61. You will be guaranteed to be the hit of the car shows…”

“1951 CJ3A Willys Jeep. The Good: Complete, mostly original, flat-four. Also includes full 6-point cage, new tires, new shocks, new gas tank and lines, and new brake lines. The Issues: It has been sitting for a while and was in the middle of a 12-volt conversion that was never finished (no generator or alternator currently) when I bought it, wiring needs attention, turns over and starts, has a couple rust-out spots under the rear tail lights, quater size hole under the drivers seat in the pan, and rust in the rigger body braces under the body near the frame (where the wood was located). No pink slip.
I bought it as a project and have not had the time to finish it. It had been sitting for a while prior to me buying it… I massaged the cylinders with some Marvel oil, added some fresh gas to the carb and it cranked over and it tried to run. Sputtered, puttered, but ran. Since then, I have replaced all the gas lines, cleaned the new tank (it had old gas in it), added two inline filters, new plugs, new wires, and there it sat. Thus, I know it’s not frozen and only needs minor tweaking to run.”
“1948 CJ2A Jeep willys…. 100% Frame restoration, New brake lines & hoses, New brake clyinders, New Clutch, New shocks, Rebuilt 134 4cyl Flathead (3 Miles on Engine).. Rebuilt T-90 trans w/ dana 18 transfercase… New universal joints front and rear.. Dana 41 rear, Dana 25 Front….. Runs and drives.. Needs very little body work.. Comes with a spare rolling frame in great shape.. Also lots of extra parts.. Non original seats!!! $4800 cash firm CLEAR NJ Title, or will trade for a Harley or older triumph or Indian.”
“For Sale:1958 Willys Jeep pickup 4×4, 226 ci super hurricane flathead 6 cyl engine,manual trans. Body is pretty good shape other than the rust in the floorboards(not a bad repair),little rust elsewhere in the truck. Rear window is cracked,otherwise glass is good.The engine should run with a good 6 volt battery, almost had it fired when the battery in it gave out comepletely. Good resto project or good to customize. Asking 1000.00 O.B.O”
ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK THE VIN … THIS WAS A FUN ONE: The seller noted on ebay that this is a ’57, but it has the older, pre’57 dash. That raised a flag. So, I looked closely at the VIN: The first set of numbers are 55268 instead of 453 GB2. That VIN actually belongs to a 1956 Pickup Truck 6 cyl (226 ci) with 4wd with a serial number of 33836. “Very original Willys CJ3B. No body lift, original 4cyl engine, manual lockers on front, 3 speed trans. Color is Red, original upolstry in great shape and this has rear bench seat. Tool box under passenger seat. 4 good tires – spare is for decoration. Has AM/FM cassette and Jensen speakers under dash on firewall. Top is serviceable. No Bondo.”
The seller believes this might start up if the starter is tightened?
“1948 WILLYS JEEP W/O TITLE. THIS JEEP WAS BEING USED FOR HUNTING AND TRAIL RIDING BEFORE TEENAGE BOYS RAN OVER A VIEW TO MANY TREES. HAS BEEN PARKED FOR OVER A YEAR BUT WAS BEING USED BEFORE I BELIEVE THE STARTER WIRE WAS NOCKED LOOSE.”
