About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
The pics of the body parts are along the wall (still boxed up I think).

Technically, the first year of production on civilian jeeps was 1945. This CJ sounds like it has an interesting history.
“This is the Original Grand Daddy of all Civilian Jeeps- the Willy’s CJ2a is the first model year of the post WWII civilian market run. This is a very rare collector’s item. This is unit # 70007. She is in excellent shape. This one was kept in a Detroit Show Room for over 25 years prior to being in storage for 10 years. When the dealer passed away his estate sold off all assets and that is how we found her, 5 years ago. We have the original Magazine Adds from Time Magazine, July 15, 1946.”

The seller of the body has thrown in a running CJ-3A for combo price of $2500. I have to say, I’d really like this combo. I think that’s a good price.
“1952 jeep. runs and drives.comes with new fiberglass body. $2500.00 or maybe make an offer? teach the kids how to drive.family resto project, who knows”
I *think* I see the column shifter on this, but I can’t tell for sure …
“For sale 1945 Willys Cj2a farm Jeep with pto . The Jeep does run and drive . This is one of the first civilian Jeeps made after the war and is a true factory farm Jeep with pto option. It came from Arizona so the body is pretty decent.”
“1957 FC 170 (FORWARD CONTROL) 8,000 lbs. on the tag. Overall truck is in good condition for its age and the way the FC’s rust out. Has some small holes in floor by your feet and some small rot in cab corners. Has the hurricane straight 6 in it with the high low box. The engine ran about 5 years ago but was parked due to faulty brakes. The engine now spins over freely but has no spark, looks like a points, condensor, rotor, cap, and wires are needed to hear her run again. The steel stake bed is fully functional dumping box with its own PTO lever and pump and resovoir. This is the first year of hte FC and the only produced them for 6 years. I have many pics and can send them if you would like.”
