About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1965 jeep cj5 f134 engine runs good starts easy, t90 trans (pops out of second t90 parts are cheap and easy to fix) hard top with hard doors that pop off fast, body is rough with patch work, front brakes need work (can convert to disk) tires are missed matched, do have 31″ studded 70% tires that can go with! twin stick transfer! locking hubs! tow bar! heater! this jeep is fun to drive around town just don’t have the time to fix the minor problems, would be good hunting rig or has lots of parts that would work on a Willy’s restoration $1350 OBO will take any reasonable offer!”
(11/09/09) This is Non Running at the moment. Otherwise, this jeep looks pretty solid. Note that it has the Hudson Steering Modification. The old top looks good.
“A very clean 1957 Jeep CJ-3B. It stopped running in 1976 and was garage kept from 1977 until about 2005. Currently it is stored under a quality, breathable car cover in a relatively dry climate. It is in the same condition as it was when it came out of storage in 2005. As it sits it has a non-running Buick 198 V6, T90 transmission and Dana 18 transfer case with a Warn overdrive. It also has a PTO winch, factory Jeep Whitco soft top, 11″ brakes and Hudson steering. My intent was to try to restore it to it’s condition as it was in the ’70s with a few upgrades. The new, uninstalled parts included with the Jeep are a Buick 225 V6 (it still needs balance and assembly), Performance Distributor HEI, Advance Adapters motor mounts. Superlift/Black Diamond suspension, 5 BF Goodrich mud terrain KOs on 16″ white spoke wheels. A new factory hood and windshield frame (the AMC dealer labels are still on them!) It also has 7 Norseman Armstrong tires, they are in very good condition and have collectible value. Serious inquiries only. Will not separate any parts. Please call Jason at 720.940.3620. Thanks!”
“This Jeep needs some work done to it i have some of the parts to get it going. It needs plugs and wires which i have and a distributor which i do not have. And the carburator needs to be rebuilt or replace i have a rebuild kit. It does need some body work or just a new hood. And the windows need to be replaced. Hate to sell it but i need the money. Any questions call Jared 707-953-0259”
The paint looks rough, but I don’t see much obvious rust. It runs as well.
“1963 F170 Willy’s Jeep. 226 Engine Flathead V6, Mileage: 315143. This Vehicle has the Original Engine in it. 9 foot bed, 1/2 ton. 4 wheel drive. Needs front windshield and minor repairs. In running condition. Serial # 23782. $2500.00 Truck is located in Steamboat Springs Colorado.”
(05/05/09) The body looks a little rough, but it runs. It looks like a good price.
