These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1951 m38 military jeep used in korean war. Original motor has been totally redone along with the wiring. Motor still under warranty and only has @80 miles on it since the work has been done. Jeep has been in the family 40years and has been well kept and out of the weather. Make me a respectful offer”
“Ground up rebuild of rust free CA. Jeep, No stone left unturned with Complete engine rebuild by custom machine shop, new T-90 trans, rebuilt 18 transfer case, all new driveline components, NOS ring and pinion in rear and all new bearings, front axle rebuilt with new bearings and seals, complete new brake system, master cylinder, all brake lines, wheel cylinders, shoes and drums, stock steering system rebuilt, all new ball ends and box rebuild, new tires and tubes, 4 new USA made leaf springs and bushings, NOS speedo cluster, recovered original seats, new gas tank, etc. etc. Body blasted to bare metal and painted in Milspec carc desert tan, all sheet metal original except rear wheel wells replaced from being dented by ill fitting CJ5 seats previous owner installed. Restored with originality in mind other than paint. M-100 trailer NOT included but is available.”
“This 1943 GPW is in good condition and runs just as well. It drives at top speeds of roughly 55mph 3 speed transmission and the original flat 4 engine that has been modified to a 12v system. This is a fun jeep to own and drive.”

“Willys 1945 ¼ ton 4×4. Overland Motors Jeep Division Model MB. Serial #431784. Gross weight 3250. Delivery date 4-3-45. Not military tires, tube 616 4-ply. Frame-off restoration. All original. $22,600 into it, have receipts. Asking $17,500 or best offer.”
Peter noted that it looks like the driver side front spring is bent near the front shackle.
Ted shared this jeep. It has a few updates, including a spray liner on the interior and underside.
“Offered here is a 1946 Civilian Willys Jeep. This driver comes out of an estate and collection of fine automobiles. The in-house mechanic states that the engine and transmission have been rebuilt and the brakes are in good working order. Newer paint was applied and the vehicle shows well. The floors and undercarriage plus the inside of the fenders have been undercoated. A roll bar has been installed. The windshield glass on the driver’s side has a crack and will need replacement. Some paint bubbling was noticed also on the windshield frame. This is a no-nonsense little cruiser. Perfect for running around town, as a grocery-getter, a vehicle for advertising, parades or simply to show and enjoy. The vehicle is currently on display at the Murphy Automobile Museum in Oxnard, California.”
This has an early windshield. It also has a floor shift, though the pics don’t show if it was once a column shift or not.
“This is a very very early civilian jeep, perhaps the very first few that rolled off after the war as it still has the MB body. Originally came with the rare column shift but later converted to stick on floor. All original drive train. Starts right up but needs restoration. Body is very solid with some bondo. Original Arizona vehicle last licensed in 1970. A great project that can be worth getting into. Serious enthusiasts only please.”
Ted shared this amazing looking CJ-7. It hasn’t been run in 9 years and seems to be missing a battery.
