The body has been patched. Still has the column shift.

That might be a VEC body. I doubt there is much value here.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1100.
This has a VEC body. It also might have a rare Porter and Reed Type “B” Deluxe Half Top.
“1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A has a flat head 4 cylinder engine and all high lows was a good running rig 15 years ago, comes with extra parts. The jeep would make a great hunted rig. ”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
(06/17/2016) Appears to be a column shift. Might be a VEC.
“For sale- 1946 Willys Jeep with 1938? International truck cab, 6 volt 4 cyl. all original Willys running gear, hasn’t run in 7 years. Needs gone over. Titled as 1946 CJ2a. Needs some tlc. If interested come and look.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8300.
This combo appears worth a look. This has a rare Carson Car Craft hardtop.
“I don’t want to sell the” 45″ alone, just because. Both run , the 48 has a homemade plow set up. and I would add is crazy clean. Garaged and driven for 35 years, then I bought it. The “45” is a VEC, vin. 10365, good bones. And also comes with a great story ! Open to calls , but I have a limit on how much jeep talk I can do.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3400.
Runs, but needs brakes.
“Hard to find, desirable early Willys with shifter on steering column. This was the first civilian model jeep made after WW2. Serial number 27040. Stored indoors and owned by the same person for the past 40 years. Starts and runs great. Brakes not currently working. Solid, nearly complete vehicle would be great for restoration or would be perfect to use around farm with little work needed.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7000.
Listed as a 1948, it looks more like a 1946. I can’t tell for sure, but the windshield may have square bow holder bolts.
“This is one very nice looking old Jeep. I am listing it for a friend. It is rather a rare model with column shift. {Note pictures}. Please DO NOT text or email response to this advertisement. Serious inquires by Telephone only , John”

Appears to have a rear PTO and winch. Probably a VEC body, too.
