This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This ’59 has a rare cab with 16,900 original miles. Was originally a fire truck, was disassembled and kept in a barn for years. Previous owner sandblasted frame and undercarriage which is in excellent condition. 265 engine was completely rebuilt and a very rare 4-speed transmission was added. A steel dump body with dual pistons was custom made. Dump works perfectly. Chrome dual pipes were added for charm and a great sound. Truck goes like crazy! What it needs: a bumper, needs wipers connected, and the heater hose needs connecting. It won’t take much to finish it off! I don’t have the time or energy to do it myself. Looks new.
“New (still in the box) Best Top Soft top for Jeep Willy’s CJ2A. Was intended for a ’47 but was never installed. Not sure what range of years it would fit, but was ordered for a ’47. Top is complete with full doors as well. Call or e-mail if interested.”
This has a new engine, but it isn’t installed. There are 2 other CJ-2As disassembled for $950. I was just through Filer last Monday.
