This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The seller just needs to get rid of it. It might make a very cheap parts wagon.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
The seller believes this was the original body, but it looks more like a repo body to me. Also, there’s been a good deal of welding along the passenger front frame rail and along the underside of the driver’s side rail, which could indicate the original rails weren’t in good condition. Also note the modified transmission undercarriage.

“Im selling my 1948 Willys jeep for $4500 obo. has a rebuilt stock flat head 4 cylnder. New Wheels and Tires. No Rust. Runs Great, only reason we’re selling is because we don’t drive it anymore.”

The good news is that the tires hold air.

This has a winch that’s worth a few hundred all by itself.
“Willys Jeep project, purchased jeep to restore but have way to many projects going on. There is no title!!! You will have to acuire a title yourself. It has been retrofitted with a Ford 351 V8 that will need work, I put on a starter to see if it would turn over but no success.
