Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a completely restored 1952 M38 soft top military jeep for sale. Only have 2 left they’re selling like hot cakes. Everything on it is all original has a brand new paint job on it. Here’s a few pictures. Located off of International Airport Road. I’m asking $10,000 cash only sale please. I will not accept any kind of checks or anything. ”

I think frame and chassis is a CJ3b drivetrain and whoever built this jeep ordered new tub and body parts for a cj2a?
You can hear motor run. I jump starter and put gas in carb fires right up.
Here is what I think it has>

(12/28/2014) Hasn’t been run in 15 years.
“Up for sale is a 1946 Willys Jeep. The Jeep has been converted to a V8 engine from a 1969 Camaro SS 12 volt overdrive with power steering. The Jeep is currently not running and has not been started in 15 years. The Jeep has been owned by family since 1968 and been garaged. It has minimal rust and the gas tank needs to be replaced to get it running. I have the white canvas top in good condition. This was going to be my project car but I have no time hoping to sell to a Jeep enthusiast. ”

“I am trying to assist a friend of mine on selling his Willys. I don’t quite have the details on the vehicle but will update when I do….He is asking $12,000 for this Willys. He has owned it since the 50’s and used it to run in the sand dunes. Now he is a little less comfy in it, being 91 years old and just wants someone to enjoy it like he did.”
The motor has been updated. This has many of the M-170 elements, except for the passenger side cutout. I’m wondering if it has been filled?
“1953 Willys Military M38A1 Jeep with half cab &doors. 12 volt conversion 225 evenfire V6 with Weber carb. All new spring bushings & centerpins. Lots of work done. Needs tires & regastration, fell off DMV records same as starting over. Cash talks.”
