Well, it’s not a high hood.
“Cool old “high hood” Willys. This Jeep has been nicely preserved and not abused. The body is excellent. It is very straight and solid, has all of its original parts except seats and transmission. These Jeeps have very good aftermarket coverage/support, which makes them comparatively easier to restore than other classics. The minimal upholstery and chrome plating makes their restoration comparatively affordable also. Stock 4 cylinder engine in unknown condition. I have a spare engine for it, partially disassembled. The Jeep rolls and steers. Windshield is nice. Still has original tailgate which is nice. Repainted black with gold stripe in the 70’s. Kind of has a rough and ready look to it. Kansas antique so it won’t be hard to file for a title. If you are from out of state I can help with this.
This was my wife’s baby, but she found a 1944 military Jeep she couldn’t pass up.”
UPDATE: **SOLD* Was $1500.
Runs and drives.
“Mail Jeep for sale. Runs and driver great. Quiet, no smoke, no rust. Must see to believe.”
There may be value here.
“1951 Jeep Willy SB ford and 1974 CJ V6 buy both for 1200.00 or each 600.00 No titles”
Appears rough.
“I have a M38 Willys Jeep that I have started to restore so it is partially disassembled. The engine and transmission is almost ready to come out to be rebuilt. The attached photos are of BEFORE restoration was started. This is not a running jeep. If you are looking for a project, this is a good one. I am not desperate to sale and will not give it away. M38’s are some of the most rare jeeps ever built. If your a preeper you will like the old school technology in this jeep that makes it Electro- Magnetic Puse (EMP) Resistant. I just don’t have time right now to finish the project.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $450
