Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This old Willy’s body is mounted on a 1960’s VW frame and driveline. The body is rusty but still may appeal to someone out there who likes these old trucks. I far as I know it still runs but realize if you are looking at this it’s not the VW portion that appeals to you.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $5800
(07/01/2016) Looks solid, but not restored to specs. Appears to have diamond plate on the cargo bed.

And this cute, fuzzy, tarantula, that was resting outside the guest house where Ann and I are staying.
For the past couple of days we’ve been having some good family fun at Ann’s uncles place. They have about 10 acres of flat desert that’s relatively uninteresting during the day, unless you have an ATV to explore the area, but at night comes alive with all types of creatures. Never a dull moment here!
It’s not a jeep, but Ann and I had fun racing around in this thing.
Ann driving her aunt. I think my wife is ready for some jeep racing. She was driving that ATV fast!
Ann’s cousin Shelby found two things near the border of the property yesterday. A basketball and, of all things, a jeep grille, leftover from some mysterious plastic jeep. I can’t imagine why, but they thought I should have the grille. I guess it’s going up on my office wall somewhere.

Dan spotted this nicely restored wagon. Despite the price, there is still a little work left.
“98 % complete needs a few final touches…Everything gone through…no rust, new paint inside and out, rubber, glass, headliner, white wall tires new or replated chrome original radio…rewired 12 volt system and electric wipers. Everything else is back to stock much more replaced. It has the F-6 161 Hurricane 685 Engine very rare 1952-1955. Sandblasted to bare metal professional paint job. This was a project I did while taking care of my terminally ill wife, she has passed and it is why I’m selling it. I’m willing to negotiate with shipping. A perfect parade vehicle…the PICs speak for themselves…I can email more. Call for more information.”
