Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Rare Jeep Willy’s Truck! Runs and drives, Straight 6 engine, just had brake wheel cylinders and master cylinder replaced. Frame is in good condition. 3-speed manual with hi-lo drive. Factory mounted plow control to raise/lower plow. Plow is manual angle that I had custom mounted last winter. I do have a second parts Jeep with motor taken out, that one in much rougher shape. ”
The body has been patched. Still has the column shift.
“ALL ORIGINAL other than a conversion to 12v, Rare column shift, 3 speed, body fair. Not currently running, needs some electrical work. Reasonable offers considered.”

(05/02/2016) It’s not all stock. It looks to have a DJ-3A body (or a replacement body).

Between “Excellent Project” and “Blue Chip Investment” the seller is overselling this one.
“Fresh from the barn serial# 65627 of 72329 very scarce model of the M38. Super solid frame some floor pan rust lots of dents and some tore sheet metal. The previous owner told me it was running 10 years ago when it was parked. The engine is free. It was converted to 12volt. I am selling it as found the gas tank is very rusty inside. Like I said this is begging for a total restoration these are becoming the next blue chip investment. I do have a transferable N.Y. title.”
May need some brakes probably means it needs brakes.
