“Great 4 wheel drive 1946 Willys Jeep! Has a V-8 engine (from a 1960s Chevy van I think) and power steering. It is a 3-speed, plus a low range and an overdrive, so you’ll have lots of gear choices! It has been a wonderful family fun vehicle for years, but we now rarely use it since our kids are older. It has brand new tires, and it is in good mechanical condition. Floorboards are solid.

Includes a dual axle trailer for towing the Jeep, with trailer brakes (I’ve never used the trailer brakes, so I cannot vouch for them).”

This was just listed over at jeeptruck.com. I think the seller is a little optimistic about the price. I’m wondering if he has a title, since he isn’t sure about the year or model.

“I have restored it about 70% and I think it is a FC170DRW year 1962. I think I have the very last one. It is a stub nose dual wheeled truck. I have pictures during the restore of the body and interior. The engine and transmission are the original. It has 43000 miles on it and runs good.”

The Jeepster project includes a parts mail jeep.

“1969 Jeepster complete body (seats, extra door, hood, fenders, grill, rear gate) and possibly powder coated frame and running gear, engine and transmission, new swamper tires and 5 almost new rims. Clean title and shop manual. Will need new floors, paint, and front glass. Best offer on complete body from frame up or $3800 for everything.
Only used factor body mounting locations for deck buggy project ( included). Not cut on or welded on. Will also include the 1975 mail jeep in pics. Runs but needs work.

Given the Koenig? half cab, there looks to be value here. Lots of body rust, too.

“Time for second owner for this vintage 1950 Willys Jeep that we used in the orchard, on the farm and for hunting in the Columbia Gorge. This Jeep was purchased new in 1950 by my parents. It has a paltry 19,000 miles on it. It would be a great restoration project! The engine is non-operational and needs to be rebuilt but nothing is frozen.”
