OLD!!!!!1946 Willys cj2a Jeep with rare aluminum hard top! 12 volt upgrade with new battery. “Go Devil” L-head engine. Jeep starts and runs strong, brakes, steers and shifts through all gears no problem. 4 wheel hi/low works. It has new front turn signals (easily removed to return to stock), as well as correct tail lights (not cheap generic). Headlights work, also has cabin heater (under driver dash). All footman loops are present. New original style spare tire carrier/mount from Walcks (not generic aftermarket carrier). Engine was removed and re-built several years ago- have re-build receipts.

Last ran and drove 6 months ago, still org flathead 4cyl go devil engine
All org. gauges work including speedo
Have rebuilt all the brakes minus the wheel cyl and shoes
Front steering half rebuilt
Have org. style wiring harness partly installed
Rebuilt Carb.
New Exhaust manifold
Blasted and painted intake manifold
No Title you will need to get it vin inspected
Has black and gold CA licence plates both there
Hard to find a complete one anymore!!!

(10/02/2014) Looks in good shape. I think this includes a CJ-5.

“1948 jeep restored about 10 years ago. One of the nicest around and made so a bigger guy can drive it. Turns on a dime. Too nice for the hills. But made to go hunting if that’s what you want. Nice comfortable high back seats make for comfortable ride. and has a S 10 tire rack on the back. Bikini top as well as a full soft top. Radio needs to be reinstalled. No biggy there. Drives smooth with 1200 dollars worth of wheels. And matching spare. $8500. It is one of the nicest CJ3A’s around. You won’t find one this nice for this price. And no diamond plate so no rust has been cover up. Heater fan does need to be reversed. Price is firm. Has sat for over a year. Has roll bar and is gun metal grey. I just don’t drive it or the 55 CJ5 with a snow plow so both need to go. Both have 4 cyl. engines.”
