This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Good news! I will be extending eWillys in its current form through the end of 2020.
You might remember that on January 1st of this year I mentioned I was planning on ending or making changes to eWillys in the spring of 2020. I’ve decided to delay any changes until December of 2020.
The principal reason for this is to insure that Ann and I have a smoother transition from life as we know it into our new lives in 2020, should things work out like we believe they will. What this means for you all is that you will accompany Ann and I on these upcoming changes. I know this is all a bit vague, but that’s the way it has to be for now.
So, stay tuned!

Members of The Airborne Infantry acquire great skill in handling of “Jeeps” via aeroplane. Here are men of The Airborne Infantry practicing placing a “Jeep” in an aeroplane and removing it. The aeroplane fuselage “Mockup” is exact scale of an actual aeroplane. Sent A and O list Chicago to west coast. Photo measures 8.5 x 6.75 inches. Photo is dated 2-28-1942.”

This CJ-5 has the early 0-10 King Seeley speedometer. I think this has a great, vintage feel to it.

4 cylinder, manual transmission (3 spd)

Solid sheet metal, no rust through
6V battery system
Fender mounted spare tire

Runs, drives, and just about everything works except for the speedometer.
Very off road capable. I’ve had this in the hills a number of times. Tight turn radius.
Would make a great hunting vehicle.

It’s a project. Obviously, the seller is incorrect about the CJ-3B productions years (should state 53-69).

Desirable CJ3B model (only manufactured in ‘53 and ‘54.)

Based on the description, I’m guessing the seller knows very little about jeeps. No pics provided.

Extensive restoration on the drive-train: seals, bearings, front and rear differentials, transmission, transfer case, brakes and military PTO are all in 1st class condition. Engine runs well. Starter rebuilt.
New canvas top and plastic side windows. New authentic seat covers. No rust on frame or body.
Tool kit. Army repair manual. Additional restoration parts.
The late owner was unable to complete the restoration. However the work is 95%+ complete, and with a few weekends work and the correct unit stencils this classic Jeep is ready to join the 4077th or unit of your choice.”

Here’s a hard-to-find 4 bbl Offenhauser intake for the Buick 225.
“I have a 4bbl intake manifold for a Buick 225 V6.
Was being used on a motor that threw a rod.
Comes with intake and exhaust manifold gasket sets. Had a minor repair to heater hose connection but does not effect use.
Pretty hard to find these anymore, inexpensive power increase.”
Will need the brakes examined at the very least.

“1960 Willys Jeep FC170 is all original except the motor. It has a Chevy 307, 2 barrel. Three speed, four wheel drive. New Goodyear tires. I cleaned the gas tank, installed a new fuel pump, new points, condenser, rotary cap, distributor cap, New oil and filter, and new wires. I cleaned the carb and it fired right up. Some rust around the bed. I have already repaired the cab corners. Very rare to find the front bumper with bumperettes.
It needs brakes looked at. all glasswork is good except the drivers side glass. It has a plexiglass window that rolls up and down. These are very Rare jeeps, Only built from 1956 to 1965. There is a cult following for FC’s. This one is very complete. I had a leg injury that keeps me from going farther with restoration. I have other projects, so this one has to go. $7900 OBO. NO PayPal, No shipping. No personal emails. No Scams. Might consider trades that are ready to drive. (no projects)”
