This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The 2021 Willys Reunion has confirmed it will take place May 21-22 in Aurora, Ohio, this year. My lovely bride and I won’t be able to make it, but hopefully we’ll be more settled in 2022 and can visit at that time. Maybe we can even bring one of our jeeps next time!

“2008 Prototype General Dynamics Ordnance & Tactical Systems M1161 Growler Light Strike Vehicle. 3.0L Turbo charged diesel 4 cylinder 148HP, 295 lb∙ft torque, 4 speed auto, 4WD. Runs and drives excellent, 553 miles, 203 hours. Tire inflation system (run flat) and adjustable air bag suspension work as they should. One piece windshield with defrost vents, I haven’t seen another with a one piece windshield.

“I have a 1946 Willys CJ2A that I have taken apart and started to work on. We pulled it out of a field in NC. I have brand new front and rear floor boards, brake lines, etc. engine is not seized. Would like $2,500 if possible. Will need a trailer to load it. Please no low ball offers. Located in JC. Would make a really great project! I just don’t have time for it anymore”

Three (3) speed with overdrive.New Wild Trac Radial X/RS 235/75R15 tires with less than 500 miles. New canvas seats with 3” foam cushions. New sidesteps. New Rancho Springs. Eleven (11) inch brakes. New master cylinder. Painted Gun Metal Gray 4 years ago. Purchased in the late 70s in Colorado, moved to Arizona in the mid 80s. Stored indoors since coming to Illinois.”
This might have done some early racing at some point? Has a one-piece fiberglass front clip.
