This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “PROJECT Engine runs. 305 sbc Transmission out of vehicle Has T90 and Dana 20 transfer case. Both need rebuilt Also have th350 with np205 and/or np203. Decent condition. Have extra cj5 frame and axles that go with it. Not going to split it up or part it out. $2500”

“1952 CJ2A/M38, engine runs great will need radiator rebuilt, frame replaced. Comes with rebuildable frame and radiators. Also have spare, transmission, transfer case and other misc parts. Currently has Saturn over drive installed”
John shared this CJ-5. It’s listed as a 1952, but clearly is later than that. Not sure how much value is here, but it includes a plow.

John spotted this MB with unusual ‘skins’ across the grille and fenders. Given it has been parked since the 1980s, unclear what value is here. I believe it needs floor pans (my interpretation of “4 pains”). Only one pic provided.

“Old World War 2 Jeep that my friend’s family used on their farm was running when they parked it in the 80s does have crack in engine block. Needs 4 pains.

This eight-page issue of Jeep News, volume 9 number 6, begins on page one with a few plugs for The Greatest Show on Earth.
Page two plugs a completed Jeep race out of Michigan, hosted by the Michigan Four Wheelers Club of Dearborn. Page three highlights, once again, The Greatest Show on Earth.
Pages four and five share images of jeeps from around the world. It also includes a short note about the annual ‘Jeep’ Caravan to the Gila Cliff Dwellings. Page six includes a nod to the Sussex County Jeepster Club out of New Jersey, along with a story about the development of a mobile camera tied to a CJ-3B. The Jeeporama out of Boulder, Colorado, fills the entirety of page seven. The issue ends on page eight with two stories of jeeps in the Peace Corps.
The more I read these Jeep Service and Parts News issues, the less they look like news and the more they look like reminders to Sell, Sell, Sell! (See “The Parts Department Manager” on page four). It’s not that there isn’t a place for encouraging selling for this department, but whether it belongs in a news bulletin is less clear to me.
In the “not all air bath cleaners are made the same department”, the note on the lower right portion of page four highlights a new air bath cleaner for the FC-150 that includes “a water deflector to eliminate the possibility of water entering the air cleaner from the back of the fire wall”.
Here’s a good price on three FC-150 and one wagon postcards. That’s a buy-it-now price.

This model identification poster is almost 3’x4′. This isn’t one I’ve seen very often.

“I’ve had this for many years in my garage and body is clean with no rust. I recently had the transmission rebuilt within the last few years and still has a minor leak under pan. Will need new brakes. These are the old specs I have and still up to date to the best of my knowledge. New battery and heater installed recently.
“1950 Willys CJ-3A, NO RUST, very solid all steel body on 79 DJ-5 frame, 231 Buick V6, Almunimum radiator, push fan, 400 turbo automatic transmission, Dana 20 transfer case, centered dana 44 limited slip flanged axle rear end. 3.73 gears, Dana 30 front end with 11in brakes. Full roll cage with padded top tubes, new steering wheel,tub is durolined. 33×12.50×15 tires with less than 1000 miles driven. 2″ receiver hitch on custom square tube rear bumper. gas tank under back. Levi Strauss edition front and rear CJ-5 seats. New turbo mufflers. All new wiring. Tilt wheel, saginaw power steering, new Rancho front lift springs and 5000 shocks. Bikini top only.
