Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (09/19/2012) It has a Datsun motor mounted to the stock tranny. That’s a rare combo.

It looks like the interior of the body has been extensively repaired on this Texas hunter.

There appears to be some rust, but otherwise this looks clean. The seller says it needs assembly, so maybe it doesn’t look like this anymore?

The rear wheel looks bigger than the front to me. I bet that doesn’t work out so well in 4wd.

The cover on this mailer (of a pig behind a tiny tree) is unusual. I am guessing this strategy didn’t work as I haven’t ran into pigs in other willys/jeep brochures.
