This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Antique 1946 CJ2A Willies Jeep with a sturdy metal frame and good body for fixing up. Restoration project. Needs a new motor. Transmission and 4-wheel drive work. $1050 or best offer.”

(12/17/2014) The seller recommends installing tubes in these.
“Up for sale is a set of 4 Goodyear Wrangler XT Terra Tires on white wagon style rims. The tires are 31 x 15.5 x 15. The rims are 5 lug 5.5 lug spacing. These tires are D.O.T approved but are best for off road use only. They are a flotation type tire. The tires have great tread left but are weather checked and should have tubes installed. ”

(08/30/2014) Sounds like it is still 24 volt.
“Drives like a willy’s and engine runs great even with poor carb rebuild. Two new batteries. All new plugs. New fuel cell, lines, and fuel pump. Extremely low miles, odometer reads 30k. Lights work and most importantly a monster of a heater. Custom enclosure and doors. Comes with a snow plow. The hydraulic motor and ram are the only things I have not addressed. The rear of the bucket is toast but the rest is pretty good. Just don’t have the time to finish this project. This vehicle has no title, but there may be one in the files of the International college on Federal. If you wish to rebuild a title is should not be a problem. I have a bill of sale from them and they may even have found the original by now. This all original Willy’s except for parts mentioned is in pretty darn good shape. Just needs someone with the know how and gumption to really finish her off.”
It’s the beginning of year seven for eWillys. Expect more jeeps, more adventures, and more great content!

“There is nothing more rugged then a Willys Jeep, especially a ’50s one with some patina. This 1950’s Willys CJ3A is almost completely original. If you’re into off-roading or just want a beast to drive around, this CJ3A is located in Phoenix, Arizona. I WAS JUST INFORMED THAT THIS IS A VERY RARE CJ. IT WAS MADE FOR THE MARINES IN 1950 AND ONLY 1000 WERE MADE. I AM NOT A CJ EXPERT IN ANY WAY – IM GOING BY THE ADVICE OF SOMEONE WHO IS. THE ENGINE IS ORIGINAL AND RARE. ONCE I HAVE MORE INFORMATION ON THE JEEP — I WILL AD IT TO THE SITE. The CJ3A was the first CJ Jeep to use the L-134 Go-Devil 4-cylinder engine. The 2.2 liter straight-4 produced 75 hp and 114 pounds of torque, which is plenty to pull this bare bones vehicle around.“
