This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 Willys, very early civilian, completely restored. Rare column shift. New items Stock: Tub, Fenders, Windshield, Seats, suspension. Rebuilt items: Motor original flat head “Go Devil.” Rebuilt Tranny, Rebuilt Transfer, Rebuilt differentials. Original rims and new tires. New additions to stock that can be easily removed. Overdrive unit, Lock out hubs, Best Top Soft top, Aftermarket Heater, turn signals and lights, LED windshield mounted light, electric wipers, vacuum booster for stock brakes. Frame was sand blasted, treated for future rust and painted. Body was treated for future rust and painted. Way too much work to mention here also have the original tub, additional tranny, motor parts, transfer case, diff parts fuel tanks and body parts.
What don’t work: small oil leak in filter line, Speedometer. The speedo had been changed so we trusted it, alas we shouldn’t have. All new cables though and gear etc.”

“Parade ready Jeep done up as a US Air Force vehicle. It is a 4×4, 3 speed w/reverse, hi/lo range. Has been converted from 6 to 12VDC with alternator. Gauges work, has windshield wiper and period heaters for driver/passenger. Has a canvas half-top and many other new parts. The original flathead four runs well, new fuel pump, currently needs exhaust work/muffler. Comes with a custom made tow-bar and vehicle cover. Currently registered with Antique plates.
VIN # CJ2A185125…………….a unique ride, and a real head turner.
I am 6’2″ and 230 lbs and don’t fit well into this Jeep, a little too tight. As far as I know, this has only been used for parades since being restored by previous owner a number of years ago, and I have only put about 25 miles on it.”

“*1941 Willy’s Jeep (with the star) – $5,500.00. Runs good. All of the gears work – 4wd and differential lock. New battery.
*1946 Willy’s Jeep – $3,000.00. Runs good but has a hairline crack in the head. This was a project we started but did not have time to finish. Brakes work good. Just did timing and cleaned all valves. New coil and new battery. Would be a great project and will clean up very nicely!!
*Parts to finish jeep, along with 2 extra frame jeeps (one has motor in it), are available for purchase for total of $1,500.00. Parts include headlights, grill, two gas tanks, horn, heater, gun sleeve, and few other miscellaneous items.
