Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This might actually be a CJ-3A. There may not be much value here though.

UPDATE: Price dropped to $3000. This includes an overdrive. Looks like a good price despite the paint job. Front frame rails look in good shape.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
This is missing the fuel filler near the driver’s side (nor is there one in the rear). So, I can’t be certain what kind of body this is.
“1952 Jeep CJ2A – side load 4 speed, 302 Ford motor, 513 gears, 33/1250/15 super swamper tires, stock transfer case and axles, 10 gallon fuel cell, full roll cage, aftermarket front fender and windshield frame rest of body is original. Just put in new clutch and brake master cylinder.”
Either the drain holes have been filled or it isn’t the original body.

“Really nice original Willys Jeep. Has 283 Chevy V-8 that runs really strong. Saginaw steering. Otherwise all original. Runs and drives great. 5.38 gears. Brand new all weather tires and white spoke wheels. Tires still have the nubs on them. Only rust is in tool box and under gas tank. Collector plates so never has to be licensed again.”
