This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The serial number of 451-GB1-22262 indicates this is a 1951 CJ-3A.
“Jeep Willys serial # 451-GB1-22262. 1/4 Ton Parts Jeep, No Title, Year?”
This does not run.
“This 1953 Willy’s Jeep does not run, but wood with a little work. However it is not on the original frame and can not be licensed for street use. Please review the photo’s, I have the original frame and T-90 transmissing and title for a restore project. Also could be used for you Rock Climber.”

This appears pretty stock, thought needs work.

Yeah, it has an engine, but it should be installed in the front, not the back. It might be why the seller is having problems with it.

(05/11/2011) “testing waters, looking to sell or trade 1952 willys jeep, 4cyl, all original, complete, with sears hard top, has larger rear brakes and 33 inch tires, needs restoration, but would only take a weekend to get it driving, comes with extra parts, narrow track dana 30, sm465 four speed trans, new gears, etc, have title in my name $2,000”

(11/26/2010) “1948 Jeep Willys CJ2A, Asking $3500.00 OBO. All reasonable offers will be considered. Needs a windsheild, brake job, paint and minor body work. Otherwise runs great. Custom made bumpers and tow bar.”
