It’s rough, but looks to be a rare M-38A1C – 106 body.

“1953 CJ5, clean title, body in great shape, not running, 3 speed, 4cl f-head, front drive shaft not installed, seats and gas tank need to be installed, motor needs tuning, hood needs to be bolted on, windshield needs glass. “Hi, I’m helping my dad sell his entire collection of military jeeps. They are located in Baraga mi there in a barn with a concrete floor. They been sitting a very long time.They do not run. They need total restoration and there is alot of parts that come with them.
1st jeep is a 1963 M170 ambulance. It was from Nevada. In my opinion this is a extremely solid jeep. No rust areas it has the hurricane 4 cylinder engine that did run. The engine is not the original one though.
There are 2 1954 M38A1 jeeps. One (pictured) is a 2 seat hard top. The body is in good condition no rust out but at one time some rust repair was done. The engine ran great in this one. The other M38A1 is not complete. No engine or trans mission. Continue reading
