This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. There are several jeeps at this June 7th Auction. The “1959 CJ-2A” looks more like a 1949 CJ-3A or maybe a 1959 DJ-3A to me.

Buz spotted this one. Current Bid is $25. Auction date is 1/03/2014. This is only a couple miles from me.

“The Rockford (IA) Community Fire Service is accepting bids on 1952 Willy’s Jeep equipped with 80 gallon water tank and electric pump. 24 volt system, some converted to 12 volt. 48,000 miles. Body, engine, drive train in satisfactory condition. Needs batteries. Sold as is. Eligible for bonded title.

This New Year’s Day auction in Laporte, Indiana, includes three jeeps and a trailer. However, only pics of a MB/GPW and a M-38 are shown.

This in-person-auction takes place January 7, 2014, in Meredosia, IL. The truck may make a good restoration project. Looks like it has been stored quite a while.
