Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I just spotted this in-process auction. It ends tomorrow (12/4). I don’t know if the jeep has been auctioned yet or not. The jeep has been changed a little. It could be a mis-titled 3A.

This 55 year old Willys Jeep starts easily, runs and drives. Good brakes. New fuel tank. Nice seats, roll bar, tow bar. Sand tires in fair condition. Body has minor rust but overall a very solid old California Jeep. We encourage you to come out and see the Jeep. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $800.
“This “Barn Find” is a 1947 Willys custom jeep! The original builder and owner worked as an engineer at SAC and also owned a Suds and Dogs restaurant. At one time it was a plow truck for winter and has a pto on the back for mowing grass in the spring and summer. Rusty!! Needs restoring. The motor is not original it is a ford falcon 6 seems to be stuck. Have no Idea about the transmission but do know that the drive shaft will spin if you lift the tires off the ground. The pto drive shaft also spins.”
