This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I’ve seen another wide brim fiberglass tub from the northeast similar to this, but have yet to know who was building them.
“Up for sale is a Willys Jeep CJ2A fiberglass tub and a soft top to go with it. The tub is used, but in really nice condition. The soft top is vinyl, made by besttop, has the bows, doors, and the hardware to go with it. The top does need some cleaning, but not in terrible shape. If you have been looking for these items then you know what they go for new (not cheap). I also have other CJ2A parts. If you are interested in any of those let me know what your needs are and I can let you know what I have. This is a cash only deal.”

“I HAVE A 1962 WILLYS CJ3B JEEP TUB. THE COMPLETE FRONT FLOORS AND ALL THE HAT CHANNEL UNDER THE FRONT SECTION HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH ALL NEW METAL. THE REAR FLOOR PANEL HAS BEEN REPAIRED WITH FIBERGLASS AT SOME POINT AND COULD BE USED AS IS BUT I HAD PLANNED ON REPLACING IT. THE RISER PANEL FROM THE FRONT FLOOR TO THE REAR FLOOR THAT RUNS UNDER THE SEATS HAS BEEN CUT OUT AND NEEDS FABBED UP. I HAVE ACQUIRED ANOTHER CJ3B TUB THAT I WAS GOING TO USE AS PARTS TO REPAIR THE RED TUB. YOU WILL GET BOTH CJ3B BARE TUBS WITH THE TITLE FOR THE RED 1962 TUB. THESE ARE BOTH ORIGINAL WILLYS STEEL BODIES THAT HAVE HAD REPAIRS TO THEM OVER THE YEARS.

Bill spotted this one. Seller indicates it is aluminum, but to me it looks more like stainless and galvanized steel parts. I’d be the body is a little longer than standard, too. It includes a variety of other parts.

Motor ran when I pulled it has been sitting out in the weather for a couple of years has been tarped only the past 2 years has it not been tarped. Some of the parts I think are rusted too use any more. Most of the ports in the motor have been taped over. I don’t know the year of this jeep body. No title. 2,500 O.B.O. Please do not email me. (01/9/2018) If the sells for $5000, then it’s time to start producing more bodies! At that price, I would double check that a windshield will seal properly on the cowl.

Seller has three items for sale.
“I have a tub, rear floor panel and a bed extender including a Willy’s stamped original tailgate. These parts are all for a Willy’s Cj3a jeep. The tub is in rough shape but definitely fixable. The rear floor pan is brand new never installed. The bed extension box is rare and in good shape as is the tailgate. I also have the tool box cover that goes under the passenger seat that will go to whom ever buys the tub. The tub was sandblasted and primed at local body shop. The floor panel is brand new and came ready to paint. The bed extension and tailgate were sanded a bit and rattle can primed. I am asking $750 for the tub. $250 for the floor panel and $500 for the bed box with tailgate. This will be a cash only, in person, you pick up sale.”
