This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This project has updated running gear.
“I have a 1948 Willy’s project Jeep for sale. clean title. I started this project a while back and after a lay off I hate to see it sitting along side the shed. I put 1970 jeep front and rear end underneath it. the body is all ready primed . I have a 4.3 throttle body engine that needs to be rebuilt, four speed transmission and transfer case with all the adapters needed to put it together, new motor mounts, new headers and brand new gas tank for under the drives side seat. ”

Runs, but has an odd windshield.
“1950 Willys cj2 4cyl with low gears 4×4, would be great rock crawler or just something to play in the dessert on. Rebuilt carb new fuel pump,dist,plugs and such newer tires and wheels.”

This project is listed as a 1942, but any parts aren’t military.
“selling my 42 gpw.still has many script f parts.i bought this 10 years ago with plans of making it run one day, made some progress but needs an owner with more time to give than i have. has a .030 over 350 engine thats never been fired. a t150 from a 79 cj5, spicer 18 transfer case(big hole) not sure what year, original dana 27 front axle, a 1949 dana 44 with track lock, 4.88 gears. the title says its 1945 and a goofy aluminum tag is attached to the fire wall that matches title. however the real vin # gpw——- stamped on the frame tells me it was born in 1942. i have no record where it served during the war. call or text for more info.”
Note the rear wheels. One is a NDT and the other is a terra tire, lol.

(01/28/2014) It looks like this CJ-2A has a WWII body of some type.
