Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Alright attempt number one, looking to sell a 1948 Willy’s Jeep CJ3a. It is beautiful and is truly something that needs better care than I can give it at home. We are in need of some home repairs so it needs to go. If has the original engine and from what I am told will go anywhere but I never put it to the test…..to pretty lol. Price is something that can be negotiated. Ok so I keep forgeting things but a couple items to mention, has a Warn winch, top comes off….shoot I can’t remember everything…check out the pics. 🙂 Thanks”

“Two 1947 willys jeep cj 2a(low hood) tubs both need some work a little rusty. One split window wind shield frame will need new glass. One full wind shield frame no glass. One hood not in the greatest shape. Two grilles both in decent shape. The frame, wheels, tires, engine, and tranny DO NOT go with. NO TITLE for the tubs. Can part out but 600 obo dollars takes all.

“For Sale red 1947 CJ2A Jeep. In good condition. It is not a show Jeep… its a survivor. Lots of original parts as well as some Bubba modifications. It can be driven as is. I have two parts jeeps that can be added to the mix for a price. Parts Jeeps are 1946 and in very rough shape… not complete! Will add pictures tomorrow… wanted to get this up while I was thinking of it. Divorce is forcing me to get rid of a very dear toy… I will miss it.”

The rear facing back seat is unusual.
“1949 Willys Jeep CJ3A. 4X4. Powered by a Buick 225 V6. This jeep has had a frame off restoration. Rhino lined inside and underneath, and multiple coats of epoxy paint. All new exhaust, wiring, radiator, red top battery, ignition and seat cushions and covers. Aftermarket overdrive mated to the original transmission so it can do freeway speeds. Front brakes are 10 inch from a CJ7, so it will actually stop with like new rubber all the way around. Has forced air heater. Rear facing removable seat from a wrangler with seatbelts. Gas cans with mounting brackets. Have multiple manuals, receipts and many extra parts. This little jeep runs and drives great, but we just don’t drive it enough to keep it.”
