Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I have a lot invested in time and money getting it to where it is but it still needs some work. I just would rather some one who loves these as much as me finish her off and drive her then me put her in storage but if I don’t get any serious interest I will store it till I get a new garage space so please no stupid low ball offers.

The windshield on this 2A was a surprise. That could be a pretty rare windshield, though it appears to be a CJ-3A rather than a M-38 windshield. This also has a rear PTO.

“I got a 1946 Willies Jeep asking 3000 obo its got a slight leek might need a rear seal (not sure) original motor and original front window 3 speed manual granny low 4 cylinder motor has been rebuilt by previous owner 2 front seats seat belts lights work registration is up its 155$ and I have pink slip in hand thank you prefer txt and please no calls after 9:00 pm let me know if you would like to see it thanks”

Given the parts, there appears to be value here.
“2 jeeps one is a cj2a and the other is a cj3a 1940s to 50s era. Both are pretty complete but are very rusty. Drivetrains are both there but engines may be stuck. The cj3a also has the PTO that comes out the back. Also have and extra motor and trans and a couple boxes of misc. parts, There are no titles for these so are being sold with a bill of sale as parts vehicles. Asking $950.00 but will entertain any reasonable offer. Dont have to sell so will not give away. Thanks for looking”

“This jeep was under construction for installing a V8 engine. No radiator, no engine included. Not butchered up, not bad rust wise. No title, sold as is with a bill of sale. If you are wanting to put it back with the 4 cylinder engine, I have some available for purchase separately.
Call between 8 am and 9 pm for details.
Could be a nice rig. Hard to tell from the pic.

“Up for sale is my 1947 Wild Willy’s jeep. This jeep has a 350 V8 with a 5 speed manual transmission. Call if you have ?’s, no joy rides. Jeep is garage kept and does not come out in the snow.”

“For sale 1948 Willys jeep with plow. Starts, runs, does not include battery. I have owned this jeep for 35+ years and have hauled cordwood with it and plowed my driveway. I am moving and no longer in need of a jeep. It does have a broken leaf spring which should be easily repairable. Also, snowplow operates, but needs work. (Missing 2 springs). Will accept best offer.”
