About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Looks like the steps have been modified a little. Includes an overdrive.
“500 miles Buick 238, 30 over, oversize cam, 4 barrel, T90 3 speed warner overdrive trans, 10 inch drum all around, power steering. Has set in storage 9 years. ”
“No title, sat in a barn for years, for sale with or without new tires and wheels, originals did not hold air. Some rust, otherwise pretty decent. Pretty much complete vehicle . No scammers or bs, cash only, 1750 with the new tires and wheels or 1250 you can bring some. Leave a number and I will call you, thanks”
“1947 Willys Jeep CJ2a. This is a good project jeep. It has the original flat head engine but it is seized up. Original 3 speed engine, original Spicer 18 transfer case. It does not have seats, nor does it have the original wheels, but I do have a set of narrow 15in wheels off a later jeep. $600 OBO”
(03/26/2014) I see no reason to think this is a military CJ-2A.
“I have a 1946 Willys Jeep that is a military CJ2. I have 99% of everything to restore this Original except for the seats. It needs new floor pans but body is straight and solid. Engine and transmission are original. Engine completely tore down to bare block. I have all original engine components. Transmission has pto dive and high low sticks, manual. If interested in it text me or call. Would consider possible trades.”
“I have a 44 Ford Flat fender jeep. It has a newly rebuilt body sitting on a cj5 frame with a dana35 up front and a 44 in the rear with brand new 488 gears in both.It has a spring over done along with a reverse shackle. It has a top and doors and roll bar.It has no motor, tranny, or transfer case.
I also have a 1942 willies flat fender complete, but needs to be finished. These are project jeeps that I can not afford to finish. I also have some spare parts like t18 4speed and a dana60 high pinion rear end and a dana 60 low pinion front end out of a 1 ton 79 ford that we might be able to make a deal on.Thanks for looking, and if you are interested give me a call.”
UPDATE: These were listed at $3500 each, but I don’t see that in the description any more.
(02/28/2014) There’s some work to be done, but there’s some value here, too. At least one has three data plates.

Not a great photo, but it looks like a real nice jeep.
