“i guess this would be for parts…..but who knows….ok it rolls,the engine is complete…head is off……marvel mystery oil in cylindres, the trans is complete…cover is off…gears SEEM ok…….i have no idea concerning brakes or whats un der neath…..the body is rusted… but some ole duffer said its restorable..i do not concur w/him

Here’s another refurbished jeep from Brigantine Beach. In regards to the seller’s answer to a buyer’s questions (see the ebay ad), while true the U.S. Air Force wasn’t formed until 1947, prior to that it was either the Army Air Corps (AAC) or the US Army Air Forces (USAAF). This jeep isn’t about accuracy. It’s about having some fun.
Then I got to thinking. As a point of discussion, is it a misuse of government intellectual property to paint on and resale something with USAF like this? I’m not that concerned about it, but I was just wondering if it’s technically legal. I might have to research that.

Rebuilt and on the road for about 8 years. Stored and housed in my garage. Rebuild records will go with the Jeep. Currently registered inspected and insured. Extensive rebuild includes a pro engine rebuild with harden valves for unleaded gas. Breaks do need work. Speedometer is not working. Great fun to be had in this classic Jeep. Call for details.

The paint job and brake light setup is unusual.

This vehicle is free of rust and mechanical issues.”
