Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 CJ2A Willys Jeep. A frame off amateur restoration about ten years ago with a lot of new parts added in that time frame. The electrical system and starter has been converted to a 12 volt system. The jeep was inspected last year and drove last year. I purchased a CJ7 recently and need to get rid of this one for a reasonable price. $4600 or best reasonable offer. Rob forwarded me the jeep below. It’s an odd melding of a CJ-2A and a Wagon. I’d love to get a closer look to see how various problems were solved.
This jeep is one of several jeeps in different conditions being auctioned, though nothing is in amazing condition. Tools and other vehicles will also be auctioned, including a deuce and a half that looks to me (not being an expert) in very good condition.

“Up for sale is my 1946 Jeep Willys Flat Fender. Runs awesome. Its a really nice Jeep that has been pretty much completely gone through. here are a few of the items to make mention of:
-It has new metallic silver paint with black grill.
-The interior and underbody are all rhinolined.
-It has a Chevy 350 V8 and a SM-420 Transmission, so it has tons of power.
-Updated all new running gear with Power Steerin

UPDATE: Price dropped to $7000. The new pics show the column shift much better.
Mike noted that this is a column shift. He suggests this is a VEC CJ-2A between #14000 and #38000.
