About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(01/24/2012) This appears in good condition. This has an unusual front carrier.
“1946 Willys CJ-2A, fully restored from the frame up about 8 years ago. It still runs perfectly. It would work as a daily driver, as long as you don’t need to move too fast. I have a bimini/bikini top for it as well. Everything you see goes with it. Everything works, but the as gauge. Never really needed it to work, just planned ahead. It has been converted to 12 volt, so it always starts. Please no BS; this is my toy and I would like to sell it, not give it away. Please email me with questions and further information.”
This may be worth a look. It sounds like the floor needs replacing/patching.

“’47 Willys CJ2A Project
Sitting on a ’72-’75 CJ5 frame, the frame is boxed. Drive train is from the CJ. 304 v8, 3 speed trans, D20 transfer case, D30 front and D44 rear. The Dana 30 gears are bad but it comes with a brand new set of gears (3.73), master install kit and a new Detroit trutrack. It has new ball joints on one side and new tierod/drag link and it has power steering. As far as I know the Dana 44 is open. It’s sitting on some kind of lift springs, possibly 2.5 inch, with military wrap spring eyes.
The body is a CJ2A with a title. CJ3A windshield frame, the windshield is cracked. The tub has good floors and it has the tool box and the underseat gas tank. The rear quarters have rust. Comes with extra tail gates. The flatty has the roll bar that’s in it, plus another one, and a front hoop and tie in bars that need to be welded up. The seats are from a ’65, or there abouts, mustang and are in bad shape but they come with brand new black repro covers. They just need new foams. The flatty has a really nice Bestop tiger top and doors, but does NOT have a frame for the top. You can buy these separate from bestop. It also comes with some diamond plate corners and rockers.
Ok, I have driven the Jeep. The motor runs nice and the tranny shifts very nice. But the jeep is not currently in running condition. The radiator is not in the Jeep and I doubt the one that comes with it is big enough to cool it. The grill shell is not currently mounted. It needs to be moved and the hood lengthened or some other thing needs to be done to get enough room for the engine and radiator and fan all to fit in the engine compartment.”
